Adding images to your posts.
There has been some confusion about adding images to your posts. I hope to dispel some of the confusion here. We'll walk though the process of uploading an image to a sail log as an example. Let's first click on "Create Content" > "Sail Log".
On this page you will see a form item labeled "Picture", followed by a text box with a "browse" button. Click on the browse button and navigate to the image and select it by double clicking the file. Click upload and let the upload process finish. Notice a new button has appeared entitled "insert". Don't click that yet, we'll come back to it.
The process of adding an image to a post has two steps. You just completed the first step - getting the image onto the server. The next step is to add the image to you Log text. Once add that image to your text you can resize it, and add a border and padding around it.
The way this is all done is to click into the text at the spot where you want to put the picture, then click on the new button "Insert". This will place your picture into the Log text. Now you can drag the picture around in the post and resize it by dragging from any of the four corners. If you double click the picture a new dialog box will popup. You will see many advanced options, but the one you should really know about is the alignment option. There are two alignment choices: left or right. By choosing one of those options you will default the image to one side of the text or the other. It's best that you just play around with the other options to see what they all do. I hope this short tutorial helps.
Have fun posting!
